PinkNotes gives you the ability to have text messages sent to you from within PinkNotes.
To set this up first login with your username and then go into the Settings screen. In the Settings screen click on the "Mobile Phones & Apps" link in the left column. Then click on the button that says "Add a Mobile Device". You will then be asked for three pieces of information. The name you would like to give this device, the cell phone number, and the carrier (ie. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc.) that device is connected through. Then click the add button. You will then be sent a text message to that cell phone. The text message will contain a validation code. This code must be entered in this same settings screen to verify that you are the user of that phone.
Once this is complete when any user opens up the screen to send a new PinkNote they will see your name listed in the Text Messaging area. All they need to do is place a check-mark next to your name in the Text Messaging area and when the PinkNote is sent a copy will go to your cell phone as a text message.
NOTE: Text messages are only used for one way communication. They cannot be replied to from a cell phone and received into PinkNotes. If you would like to be able to have full functionality of PinkNotes from your smart phone you can install the

Android on it.
