What does the 'Silence' option do?
The 'Silence' option lets you turn off your default notification options for a specific PinkNote thread. So, if you have a PinkNote that is receiving a lot of replies and you do not want to be alerted every time a reply is received, you can just silence that PinkNote by clicking on the 'Silence' button at the top of the screen.
You will still receive all the replies made to that PinkNote, but they will not pop up on your screen or play a sound when received. All replies to other PinkNotes and new PinkNotes will receive the same notification types you have setup in your settings.
The silence option will also disable the push notifications to mobile devices if you are using the iOS or Android app.
NOTE: If you would like to easily disable notifications for all new PinkNotes and all replies you can just turn on the "Do Not Disturb" option.
